Sexual Offences

Sexual Offences

The Sexual Offences Act 2003 covers a wide range of sexual offences from sexual assault to rape. Often such cases involve allegations made when there was no one else present other than the alleged offender and alleged victim, and there is no other “evidence” other than one person’s word against the other.

In light of a number of well-publicised historic sex case trials, you may even face allegations from a number of years ago. These cases require careful preparation and handling of the sensitive evidence as well as expert cross-examination in court of the alleged victims. Our team has a huge amount of experience in allegations made about recent as well as historic allegations.

Historic sexual offences are charged under old law, usually the previous Acts of 1956 and 1967. Sentencing was different then and if you are facing such allegations you will need an expert team to assist you. We have that team who can help you.
